Kayaking
Kayaking in the Sea of Cortez has been an unforgettable experience to me. It’s always relaxing to kayak on your own to Lover’s Beach from the Cabo San Lucas main beach; however it is always faster to go on a double kayak!
Take your time and paddle to Lover’s Beach. It’s always best to kayak in the morning to beat the midday sun. Once you are there, you can snorkel by the coral reef which is right off Lover’s Beach.
Kayaking along the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez you can sight colorful fish in the coral gardens, along the rock formations, which take you close to Land’s End and the Sea Lion colony.
Kayaks rent for less than $20 US per hour. If you are not an athlete you will surely be sore the next day but, believe me, it’s a great experience!
I would not recommend to kayak or swim on the Pacific
side (Divorce Beach) as there is an undertow in that area.
