Todos Santos is one of Southern Baja’s best kept secrets. It boasts a special magic, as many who have come to visit here have never left, making this captivating desert town their permanent home.
It is located on the Pacific side of the southern tip of Baja, about a 50 minute drive north of Cabo San Lucas and 45 minute drive south of La Paz.
Todos Santos remains one of the most historic towns of Baja. In 1724, the town was founded as a mission and later became a major sugar cane producer. It remained quiet for many, many years and it eventually evolved into the town it is today, with colorful art galleries, historical homes, high-speed wireless Internet cafes, and a wide selection of accommodations to suit everyone.
Secluded deserted beaches, unparalleled surfing and peaceful living are some of Todos Santos’ most attractive allures. Its moderate climate is a nice break from the hot desert sun.
Perfect for agriculture, organic produce abounds and fishing is also a primary way of life in this secluded desert oasis.
If you feel like having Mexican or Italian food, or an organic salad with the day’s fresh catch, all you need to do is walk around historic Todos Santos and you will find the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon meal.
